Hedwig identifies as a queer, poly, femme switch. A resident of London, she has traveled nationally and internationally to learn and teach about a wide array of BDSM and fetish play, with a primary focus on rope bondage. She draws particular inspiration from the traditions of shibari and kinbaku, and has written a dissertation (“Senses and Shibari,” 2011) on the subject. Hedwig brings with her a deep commitment to exploring gender identity, active consent, and the ways they can shape communities.
